VacationPackages.ca was a 100% Canadian-owned and operated travel site offering vacation packages, cruises, and travel deals. Every call to its toll-free line connected travellers with a Canadian agent who understood their unique travel needs. Last-minute or months ahead, agents worked to find each traveller the best value.
The Challenge
As a sister site to NetHolidays.ca, VacationPackages.ca had one goal: reach more Canadian travellers with more destinations, packages, and ways to book. It needed a bright, trustworthy site that made comparing deals easy and turned browsers into bookings.
Solution & Strategy
We designed a sunny, beach-inspired look in Photoshop, with bold blues and warm orange buttons that feel like a vacation from the first click. We built it on WordPress with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. A detailed vacation finder sits front and centre, letting travellers filter by departure city, destination, dates, budget, hotel rating, and must-haves like all-inclusive or beachfront. A daily deals grid, featured offers, and quick search cards for flights, hotels, and packages keep bargains in view. The toll-free number, TICO registration badge, newsletter sign-up, and travel blog build trust and bring travellers back for their next trip.
