TrailerTroll was an in-house InterVolt Development project that brought movie, TV, and video game trailers together in one place. Visitors could watch the latest previews, write their own reviews, and rate titles across every category, making it a one-stop destination for entertainment fans.
The Challenge
Fans had to hunt across studio sites, gaming portals, and TV networks just to find one trailer. We set out to fix that: one destination where people could find, watch, and talk about upcoming movies, games, and TV shows, without the endless searching.
Solution & Strategy
We designed a sleek, dark, cinema-style layout in Photoshop that makes trailer artwork and video stand out, then built it in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. A custom CMS let us add new trailers, reviews, and preview clips quickly. Organised categories for movies, games, and TV shows, along with search, sorting, and pagination, make finding a title easy. A featured trailer spotlight, latest-additions sidebar, and five-star rating system keep visitors exploring and coming back.
