Style.ca is a Canadian destination for everything style: men’s and women’s fashion, home décor, hair, weddings, cars, and more. It brings together the world of designers, models, celebrities, beauty, and shopping, with reviews, photos, videos, insider blogs, and an online store all in one place.
The Challenge
Style.ca started as a great domain and a big idea. The owner wanted more than a simple blog: a full lifestyle destination where style writers could share their latest ideas, and brands and sponsors could put their products in front of a fashion-forward Canadian audience. We needed to bring all of that together without making the site feel cluttered.
Solution & Strategy
We designed a fresh, magazine-style layout in Photoshop, pairing soft teal with bold pink accents for a look that feels stylish and inviting. We built it with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a custom CMS. Clear sections for fashion, home, hair, wedding, and car style make every topic easy to explore. Featured trend stories, latest-tips listings, and an online store keep readers browsing, while dedicated ad spaces and sponsor showcases give brands prime visibility. Search, forums, and member sign-up turn visitors into a returning community.
