PlatinumTrunk.com is an online boutique offering handbags, wallets, jewellery, accessories, and beauty products from some of the world’s most sought-after designers. Every brand it carries is known for style, elegance, and the latest trends, giving shoppers a curated destination for luxury fashion.
The Challenge
In fashion, the homepage is the shop window, and it needs to change as often as the trends. PlatinumTrunk’s owner wanted a fresh, upscale design for the online store and a simple way to update featured sales and promotions every month, without rebuilding the page each time.
Solution & Strategy
We designed an elegant boutique look in Photoshop, using rich plum tones, soft pink accents, and a graceful script logo that feels luxurious and feminine. We then built it as a custom CubeCart skin in HTML, CSS, and PHP. A bold featured-brand banner and tiles for New Arrivals, Featured Deals, and Best Sellers let the owner refresh the homepage each month with ease. A sidebar to shop by category or designer, a search bar, a free-shipping promo, and an email sign-up make browsing simple and keep shoppers coming back.
