JD Electric Business Card
JD Electric Inc. is an alternative energy installation company and a partner of Carlisle Energy Solutions. It specialises in battery energy storage systems, fuel cells, critical power installs, solar installations, utility upgrades and tie-ins, and electric vehicle charging. By buying thousands of energy-efficient motors and controllers each year at wholesale prices, JD Electric passes those savings along to its customers. InterVolt Development designed the business cards for its team.
The Challenge
As a newly launched business, JD Electric Inc. needed business cards to help its team make a strong first impression with customers and partners. The client wanted a dark, black design that matched its logo, looked sharp and professional, and clearly showed the wide range of energy installations it handles.
Solution & Strategy
We designed a sleek, double-sided card in Photoshop with a deep black background and subtle imagery of battery storage cabinets that ties the design to the energy industry. The front features the JD Electric logo, with its blue lightning-bolt slash, above a clean list of services, from battery storage and fuel cells to solar installations and vehicle charging, separated by small blue accents. The back presents each team member’s name, phone numbers, email, and licence number in a clear layout, finished with a bar that reads “Specializing in Alternative Energy Installations.”
