CampEscape - Campground Finder Website
CampEscape makes finding the perfect campsite in Ontario simple and enjoyable. Every camper looks for something different: an unserviced site deep in nature, a full 30-amp hookup with water and sewer, or amenities like a sandy beach, swimming pool, pet-friendly spaces, and great fishing. CampEscape helps campers find campgrounds that match their exact needs, so they can focus on creating unforgettable outdoor experiences.
The Challenge
CampEscape is an InterVolt Development passion project built for Ontario campers. Finding the right campground usually means digging through dozens of websites to check for the right hookups, site types, amenities, and booking options. We wanted one place where campers could search by the things they love and find campgrounds that book the way they want to book.
Solution & Strategy
We created the CampEscape brand and designed a warm, outdoorsy interface with a moody lakeside campfire hero, forest-green accents, and clean campground cards. We built it in React.js with a Supabase database and a custom backend dashboard for managing listings. Campers can search more than 400 Ontario campgrounds and filter by region, campsite type, electrical and hookups, amenities, booking options, and cost, or turn on “Use Rig Preferences” to match their own setup. Each card shows site types, amenity icons, and contact details at a glance, with provincial park badges, grid, list, and map views, dark mode, and a “Have a Campground?” option for owners to get listed.
